Each day begins with breakfast. Morning assembly is next, covering important reminders for the day and ends with a short devotion. Morning activities include sports, water time (swimming, jet ski tubing), activities selected by the camper (these include anything from crafts to jazz band), and 45 minutes of Bible Study concentrating on our theme for the week. The Bible classes are age specific and great lengths are taken by the instructors to make the classes interactive so that your child keeps the lessons learned at Camp all through the year.
After lunch, more activities and water time fill the afternoon, along with time dedicated to singing for the Group 4 campers (age 14-18).
After dinner, another short devotion is followed by an activity planned for the whole camp. These include Bible Challenge, War Games, Talent Show and culminates with a camp-wide Olympics Sports Challenge on Thursday night.
While each camper does have some free time each day, we try to pack camp as FULL as we can. Many campers pass out from exhaustion on the way out of the parking lot. We often get feedback from parents on how “quiet” the ride home was. Once the recovery period has ended….other family members MUST give our campers their undivided attention for a minute-by-minute recounting of the week’s events!!
